A little funny, a little not

Regarding Bush's "I take responsibility" statement:
"Take responsibility? Actually take responsibility? If they found GWB hanging in the Lincoln bedroom, he'd have a note pinned to his shirt saying "Karl says Clinton drove me to this"."

And, the not so funny. I suspect the Chimp in Chief is going to request more executive authority during his big speech tomorrow. Its a fine way of passing the buck (oh, what me, I didn't have the authority to do anything- it was all the locals fault!) and coming that much closer to a dictatorship via martial law. He's allready spoken publicly about it.
A personal thing: my first recitation section on Descartes and dualism was like walking a tightrope. I think I managed not to steer anyone the wrong way, at least. I'm amazed at how little these students have grasped. I suspect the first test is going to be a doozy for em'
