Mmm... nice weather

Its funny how 85 degrees is feeling like 75 after our heat wave. Lovely, lovely weather. The cooling breeze feels like a cooling breeze instead of a furnace blast. I wish I could've convinced the Mr. to go out and about on a row boat today. Oh well. Walking to the library will have to be enough of the outdoors for busy bee me. Especially since I'm meeting my committee chair and PhD adviser for a progress report this week. Here's me biting my fingernails and looking small. Eeek. Well, I'll distract them with the good news re: the productive Hallstatt samples, and artfully dodge questions about why the hell I haven't finished a polished draft of my proposal.
