A very stupid weekend...

ilex_cassineAt first, I thought about not bitching, as bitching might make things worse somehow. But then I thought, well, if I write about the weekend I can pretend that its over, and that would be nice.
So, yesterday I was sick. Baaaad sick. I had both a migraine and sinus headaches at once and was unable to keep food in me for any respectable length of time. So I missed the party I had wanted to attend. And got no work done.
Today we got up late, very late, which is frustrating because it cuts into doing stuff time too much. So then we got out of the house and doing stuff, which should have been good, but then we got rear ended. Bleh. Both parties agreed that we should try and resolve this with out automatically jumping to insurance companies, which I am heartily in favor of. Even if we weren't at fault it looks bad on ze old record. On the up side, no one hurt and the car is running just fine. We just need a new bumper and the light popped back in. And hopefully the muffler is okay, although it looks like it might need help to. So at least 200 dollars of repair. For god's sake, I'd like to make it through a month without some random 200 dollar expense cropping up. It'd be novel. (though technically the dude said he'd pay for it if it wasn't too much, its still money out of the account until he does)
And we looked at mattresses, which is becoming a dire need as both my sinus issues and back troubles seem to be negatively impacted by our shitty mattress. It looks like its gonna be 450 dollars worth of mattress, on the cheap end. Feh. Not this month. We need to shop around though. Maybe there is a budget mattress super store out there somewhere with cheaper options.
