Well, I'm in MN now
Oct. 14th, 2004 11:28 amI got to MN just fine. The bus ride from Chapel Hill to the RDU airport was probably the most harrowing thing about the trip. I like Northwest.
I'm not freezing, just a little chill. With a hat on, I'm okay. I think my mum turned up the heat in an act of sympathy for me, because it seems unnaturally warm for my parents house.
So now I'm here, doing what I was doing in Chapel Hill, which is working on my god foresaken conference paper. Except now I'm writing on my parents puttery little iMac, which is actually easier to deal with than I was expecting. Good little iMac, good boy (its blue, so I think it must be a boy, right?).
I have a lot of down time this trip, which is novel. My whole Saturday is in fact, free, and I have very little by way of ideas to fill it. If anyone wants to hang out, give a call over to my folks, I'd appreciate it. Maybe it'll be nice enough for a walk around a lake.
