Allright, serendipatree has allready talked up the documentary series, the Power of Nightmares, by the BBC. But, I'm going to do it again.
The series is fantastic! It is clever, well researched and is probably the most eye-opening piece I've ever encountered regarding politics in the US.

This is an article about the series. It compares it to "taking the red pill in the Matrix" which is a pretty good analogy.
