The eyes have it
Jan. 11th, 2005 12:01 pmI got one of the things on my semester list done today.
I went to the optometrist at Chapel Hill Eyecare and I think they do a thorough job, I'd recommend them (95 bucks for a check up, though, which perhaps is a bit steep, but I wanted a good check up, not a Walmart check up). The one bad thing though is I can still smell the cologne of the optometrist. Feh.
My eyes are apparently a-okay. My prescription has not changed in 6 years enough to warrant a new pair of glasses, and my light sensitivity (or lack thereof) is not an indicator that I'm going blind, so both my concerns have been addressed and that is good. I didn't kill anyone driving home (whew, its a darn good thing they gave me the dopey plastic sunglassesque thingys though, or I may have).
Now I'm going to fight the good fight and see if I can not let myself take a nap. I can't read with my eyes all googly and I have very little desire to clean the kitchen. Hmm... Maybe I'll take a run. Or try shuffling through the ? boxes in my room in a vain effort to sort crap.
